Lands End is a quaint 2 bedroom 1 bath cottage at the edge of Lake Ontario in the heart of Wellington. Perfect for romantic getaways, professional retreats or family vacations. 1 short block to the Drake Devonshire. Steps away from four other Sandbanks Vacations & Tours favourites --Wellington Lake House, Corner Haven 21 East and Sakura Cottage -- rent all five homes for your extended family gatherings or corporate getaway. Due to Prince Edward County bylaws, this property sleeps maximum 4 guests plus 1 child (age 9 and under). THERE IS NO DESIGNATED PARKING AT THIS PROPERTY. PLEASE READ BELOW FOR MORE.

With stunning water views from the dining room, living room, master bedroom and deck, this cottage is the perfect place to unwind and get away from it all.  Cook up a storm in the kitchen opening onto the dining room. Seats 6 overlooking the water. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, stove, oven, kettle, toaster, cookware, cutlery, and dishes. Relax in the spacious living area with plenty of comfy seating: either in the nook with a front row seat to the beauty of Lake Ontario or on chilly Fall nights in front of the gas fireplace. The nook opens onto the deck at water’s edge. 

Upstairs find two bedrooms, one with a King bed and a fold out single bed, and one with a Double. There is also a cozy loft area with Cable TV and DVD player on this level.  Bed and bath linens are supplied. Please bring beach towels.

A newly renovated 4-piece washroom is found on the main level off the kitchen and HE washer in kitchen closet with dryer in the room off entrance.

Lands End is steps away from The Drake Devonshire, East and Main Bistro, La Condesa, Foodland IGA and a short walk to the Wellington beach. 

Available Spring, Summer and Fall. Available for WEEKLY RENTALS ONLY from late June to early September. Short stays available Spring and Fall. 2 night minimum.

PARKING: There is no designated parking for this property. 2 hour parking on Main Street between 8am and 6pm or free parking up Maple Street (follow the Green parking signs). Please reach out to us at Sandbanks Vacations prior to booking for more information.

We loved our stay at the Lands End. It was the perfect location and made for the perfect place for a weekend getaway. The sounds of the waves while sleeping at night was so relaxing and the cottage is only a super short walk away from the Drake, Foodland and the farmers market. We will definitely be back!

The location of this property can not be beat! Beautiful water views from all living areas including the bedroom. Walking distance to many great shops and restaurants and a short driving distance to a number of wineries. Free pass for Sandbanks was an added bonus. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lands End. It was a cozy, bright and comfortable little cottage with everything you might need. It was nice to have supplies (like bath soap, bathroom tissue, dish liquid) provided, so that you didn't have to bring all these things. The location is ideal, only two blocks to the main street and to shops and restaurants. We would definitely like to cone back to Lands End or try one of the other properties in Wellington that Sandbanks Vacations manages.

Check In/Out Times

Check In: 5:00 PM
Check Out: 11:00 AM

Due to Covid-19 cleaning measures and for the safety of our guests and staff, different check-in/out times are strictly non negotiable. Access to the cottage to drop off belongings or to get the beach pass cannot be granted, no exceptions. A fee of  $200 will apply for those who arrive early or depart late.

Payments

Rental Deposit to Secure Booking: 35% (other booking sites charge a higher deposit)
Rental Balance is charged automatically 30 days prior to arrival (unless you reserved on another booking site as balance date may vary)
Refundable Damage Deposit: $500 is charged 14 days prior to arrival. It may take up to 30 business days after departure to receive refund. See Rental agreement for details.

A cleaning fee of $100 plus fees and taxes (where applicable) is charged for each stay. This fee covers the cost of ensuring the property is ready for your group. Guests are still expected to leave the house in a tidy state upon departure. Instructions can be found onsite. Please contact the Owner prior to checkout if you have any questions or additional cleaning fees may apply.

There is no parking onsite for this property. One spot beside the house on the street may be available or 2 hour parking on Main Street between 8am and 6pm or free parking up Maple Street (follow the Green parking signs). Please reach out to us at Sandbanks Vacations prior to booking for more information. Please refrain from blocking the neighbours driveway over the grass in front of the wood shed as that's the only way they can access their home.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no water access from this property. The closest water access is a short walk further east at Wellington Beach. Sandbanks beaches are 20 minutes by car as are the beaches at North Beach.
