Description

Welcome to the Mill Suites, unit 2!  A beautiful little love nest located in Consecon, Prince Edward County. It has historic roots as a former mill, and is perfectly situated for your stay. Immaculately decorated, this 1 bedroom apartment has been newly renovated with wood floors, a new kitchenette and brand new 3 piece bathroom. Enjoy the view of the river from your window and small balcony, walk down the street to enjoy the sunset over the water, and experience the best Ontario wines just a short drive away.

One of four units in the historic mill tower,. walk up a few stairs to the main entrance way. Your apartment is on the second floor, up one flight of stairs. Enter into a light and airy living space with kitchenette. Stocked with a small fridge, microwave, toaster oven, induction cooking plate, coffee maker and kettle; everything you would need for basic cooking. The small island with is perfect for a meal for two. The sunny living space offers sofa, chairs, television with Cable, HBO, wifi and a bluetooth speaker. There is even a place to grab a paperback or leave one you may have finished recently.

The bathroom boasts a glass stand up shower, sink and vanity, and is equipped with hair dryer and oversized towels for your comfort. The spacious bedroom has an ultra comfy queen sized bed with memory foam topper, a wardrobe to store your things, and a desk and chair by the window to catch up on any work. There are cordless blinds on all the windows. Linens, towels and all the basic amenities are included.

Step outside onto the balcony/terrace and enjoy the beautiful view. Parking is to the right of the entrance if you're facing the building. There will already be some cars there, however there is always enough space for you.

Due to Prince Edward County bylaws, this property sleeps a maximum of 2 guests. We love children (furry ones as well), but unfortunately, this space is not set up to accommodate children or pets.

Look for fun events at The Grist Mill and Adega Wine Bar PEC next door.

PLEASE NOTE: Guests should know that there may be the faint odour of smoke in hallways and units as there is a long term renter who smokes. The owners are looking into ways to purify the air and hope to have a solution in place by mid-September.

Cute, modern apartment in a fun area of Prince Edward County. Breweries, beaches, restaurants all within 15-20 minutes drive on the west side of the county. We checked in at night and it was a bit hard to see where to go (inside stairs vs outside stairs!) but were able to settle in shortly afterwards. The hosts were helpful with one issue we had which was very much appreciated. Lovely shower as well! There is cable TV, but do bring a laptop if youre looking to watch Netflix. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything youd need as well. Lots of cute local touches.

Visited this cozy space for a weekend getaway with a girlfriend and had a great time. The space is small, but cute and functional. Location is great - with wineries and beaches like Sandbanks in close proximity. Checking into the AirBnb was smooth, the apartment was clean and communication with the host was great. Would recommend!

Amazing place! The unit is in a cute old mill above a wine bar / micro wedding venue. Very clean, easy to get in, well stocked. Located in Consecon, about a 15 min taxi ride from PEC wineries. Would 100% stay here again.

This place is cozy, clean, attractive and functional - a solid home base for adventures to local attractions and wine country! All the comforts of home, including an effective air conditioner (I'm a light sleeper and found ear plugs helpful). The trendy Grist Mill next door hosted a drag show one night we were there which was a great surprise and a new wine bar is opening up at the end of July! Definitely check out the Honey House Cafe (amazing iced lattes and breakfast sandwiches!). A short drive/cab to Wellington and Picton (we preferred The Taxi Guy whose one-way rate is $40-45 to either). Parks Canada pass which was provided was a big perk, which we used to book a day at the beach for free. Highly recommend :)

Great place to stay in PEC. Conescon was a beautiful little town close to wineries and North Beach! The apartment was very clean and cozy, it was great that AC was included as well! Beautiful location overlooking the river and a cute little patio downstairs for food and drinks!! Definitely would recommend and stay again.

This apartment made for a very clean and comfortable stay. The flat is very cozy and well decorated and the quirky architecture of the building added to the overall charm of the place. The bathroom/shower is especially nice!

We really enjoyed our stay! A perfect base for exploring the area - very comfortable and we loved the decor. Easy access to the Millennium trail and the coffee and breakfast sandwiches at The Counter across the road are excellent.

Great experience. Very stylishly decorated, very clean, and a great use of the space. There is no stove but a hot plate that can be found and used to cook on. There is AC which is nice for the hot weather. There was a TV but no cable. The bedroom has a slanted ceiling which can be difficult to adjust to at first if you are tall but not a major issue. Quick responses from the owners when we were lost at night which was greatly appreciated.

More to enjoy

Check out the Lavender Farm and say hi to the alpacas on Closson Road, or spend the afternoon in the sun at North beach; both options are a quick 10 minute drive. Wellington, Bloomfield and Picton are all very quaint towns with great antique shopping and fabulous restaurants. They're all within half an hour of your home base. It's very rural in Prince Edward County so is best to have a car at your disposal. Local bike businesses can drop off bikes for you to cycle to the wineries and will come pick them up again when you're done.
